"etude for Golden Week @ project room i f t"
5 performances and one party in 3 day

For this performance, I will arrange my new etude works and some of the ones that I have realized in Tokyo for the past few months; etude no.13 hanging ice at Tokyo Wonder Site Hongo for EXPERIMENTAL SOUND, ART, and PERFORMANCE FESTIVAL, in which I won the gland prize, and DVD work that I exhibited in YUKA CONTEMPORARY. Through out the whole process, the act of eating and drinking are tranasformed as the means to create little sound works that you can eventualy bring back home.

For this special event, I will introduce/cook my latest idea, "etude no.36 water and dry earth / variation for eating some kind of Tomato stew together" and Manpei Tsurubayashi will introduce us his hand crafts - audio speakers and play music with it. He is a organazer for audio events at SONIHOUSE in Nara pref, which hosts several live music event in a yeaer with his speakers and audio sysytem. (http://www.sonihouse.net/)

I will show a new video work from etude no.7 and no.12 along with objects. Also, there will be a "juice bar" for on-going-performance "etude no.7 variation for orange-soda" and "World Wide Straw Foundation - exchanging straw" during the exhibition.
